    Financial Quantitative Analyst.

    Basic Information

    Multiple Openings. Analyze and gather business and functional requirements and transform complex financial models originally performed in excel spreadsheets into numerical models that can be executed in the dashboard application. Work on test strategy development, Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases. Perform Regression Testing, Shakeout Testing and facilitate User Acceptance Testing and Defect Tracking. Write Functional Design Documents, Process workflows, System Requirement Specification and UML Diagrams. Outline project scope and engage in the Requirements Gathering, Report Design and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases of the SDLC Life Cycle in relation to the report builds, completion schedule, and applicable deadline variance by engaging with the Accounting Manager(s) as well as the Technology Development and Testing Team. Work with data reconciliation, data extraction and establish data relationships of Accounting Data using Microsoft SQL server database SQL queries. Prepare Financial reports and automate the reports calculation with the help of internal application.
     

    Experience

    Work with Financial Reporting & Analysis, Agile Software Lifecyle Methodology, MS Excel – VLOOKUP, Fuzzy Look-Up, MS SQL, Tableau, SSRS, JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Dynamics 365. 40 hrs/wk. Must have a Master’s degree or equivalent in Financial Management, Analytics, or a related field (will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years progressive post baccalaureate experience in lieu of Master’s) and 6 months experience (or 6 months experience as Business Analyst, or related occupation). Must have 6 months experience Gathering Business Requirements and writing Functional Design Documents, Process workflows, System Requirement Specification and UML Diagrams; Working on test strategy development, Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases; Performing Regression Testing, Shakeout Testing and facilitating User Acceptance Testing and Defect Tracking.
